Itinerary
Day 0: Hanoi – Ha Giang (Overnight or daytime bus)
Depart from Hanoi by sleeper bus. Arrive in Ha Giang after approximately 6–7 hours. A complimentary bed is provided at the base to rest and freshen up before the tour begins.
Day 1: Ha Giang City – Quan Ba – Can Ty (B, L, D)
Depart Ha Giang City towards Quan Ba, entering the Dong Van Karst Plateau Global Geopark.
Stop at Bac Sum Pass and Heaven’s Gate for panoramic views of Tam Son town and the Twin Mountains.
Lunch in Tam Son.
Short hike to Lùng Khúy Cave (approx. 4 km round trip).
Visit Lùng Tám weaving village to learn traditional H’Mong craftsmanship.
Continue to Bát Đại Sơn viewpoint.
Arrive in Cán Tỷ for homestay check-in. Optional walk to the 250-year-old “Lonely Tree.”
Dinner with local specialties, followed by a social evening with “happy water.”
Day 2: Can Ty – Dong Van – Meo Vac (B, L, D)
Ride through Tham Ma Pass, one of the region’s most scenic routes.
Visit the historic H’Mong King’s Palace.
Continue to Lũng Cú Flag Tower – the northernmost point of Vietnam.
Lunch in Đồng Văn.
Cross the breathtaking Mã Pí Lèng Pass.
Enjoy a boat trip on the Nho Quế River through Tu Sản Canyon (Buffalo Tour exclusive).
Arrive in Mèo Vạc. Dinner and overnight at a local homestay.
Day 3: Meo Vac – Mau Due – Du Gia (B, L, D)
Depart Mèo Vạc and ride through Sa Lỳ Pass, passing traditional H’Mong villages and the famous M-shaped curve.
Lunch in Mậu Duệ.
Stop at Lung Ho for coffee and scenic views.
Continue to Du Gia valley, known for its peaceful landscapes, waterfalls, and ethnic diversity.
Arrive at homestay. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Du Gia – Ha Giang City (B, L)
Breakfast and farewell to the host family.
Ride through Dương Thượng commune, known for its rural charm and vast fields.
Lunch in Cán Tỷ.
Return to Ha Giang City via Thái An and Thuận Hòa.
Arrive around 16:30. Shower facilities available before onward travel.
