Itinerary

Day 0: Hanoi – Ha Giang (Overnight or daytime bus)
Depart from Hanoi by sleeper bus. Arrive in Ha Giang after approximately 6–7 hours. A complimentary bed is provided at the base to rest and freshen up before the tour begins.


Day 1: Ha Giang City – Quan Ba – Can Ty (B, L, D)
Travel through Bac Sum Pass to the Dong Van Karst Plateau Global Geopark.
Stop at Heaven’s Gate for panoramic views of Tam Son and the Twin Mountains.
Lunch in Tam Son.
Visit Lùng Khúy Cave (approx. 4 km round trip).
Explore Lùng Tám weaving village to learn traditional H’Mong craftsmanship.
Continue to Bát Đại Sơn viewpoint and arrive in Cán Tỷ.
Evening walk to the 250-year-old “Lonely Tree.” Dinner and overnight at a local homestay.


Day 2: Can Ty – Dong Van – Meo Vac (B, L, D)
Ride through Tham Ma Pass with stunning mountain scenery.
Visit the historic H’Mong King’s Palace.
Trek to Lũng Cú Flag Tower – the northernmost point of Vietnam.
Lunch in Đồng Văn.
Cross the spectacular Mã Pí Lèng Pass.
Boat trip on the Nho Quế River through Tu Sản Canyon (Buffalo Tour exclusive).
Arrive in Mèo Vạc. Dinner, local “happy water,” and overnight at homestay.


Day 3: Meo Vac – Mau Due – Thai An – Ha Giang (B, L)
Ride through remote ethnic minority villages.
Cross Sa Lỳ Pass and stop at the famous M-shaped curve.
Lunch in Mậu Duệ.
Continue through scenic valleys and cornfields in Dương Thượng and Thái An.
Return to Ha Giang City around 16:30. Shower facilities available before onward travel.
