Tour departs daily at 7:30 am and returns around 5:30 pm at hostel.

This trek is perfect for individuals willing to put in some extra work to get further into the jungle and explore some truly unspoiled tropical rainforest and caves. On this trek you will hike through the original Ho Chi Minh trail to the secluded Abandoned Valley in the heart of Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park. In abandoned valley we will guide you to two very special caves, E cave and Dark cave. At this private side of Dark Cave you will have opportunity to explore 800m into the darkness with your guide. Then, once at E cave we will feed you with a delicious jungle BBQ (vegan options available) before swimming in the amazingly blue waters of the cave. Read further for a more detailed description.

Itinerary

7:30-8:30: pick up from your accommodation
9:00 leave the Jungle Boss Headquarters and drive into Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park
9:30: dive into the Jungle
11:00 arrive at Dark Cave
11:00-11:15 small break and eat some snacks
11:15-12:15 explore 800m inside Dark Cave
12:15-12:30 Take a short break after caving
12:30-13:15 trek to E Cave
13:15-14:00 Enjoy a delicious BBQ and spring roll lunch
14:15-15:00 Swim into E Cave
15:00-15:15 Take a coffee break
15:15-17:00 trek to get back to the road
17:00-17:15 A congratulatory cheers with a cold beverage
17:15-17:45 head back to hostel.
